Syllabus of Study: 

Our Curriculum is developed by well experienced professionals. The curriculum is equivalent to Yoga Alliances 200/ 300 Hour Teacher Training Standards and includes the following subjects:
• Prayer/ mantra chant
• Asana practice (posture) , Meditation, Surya Namaskar (Sun salutation), Pranayama (Breathing techniques), Bandhas (Yogic locks), Introduction to chakras, nadis & mudras and its practice, Yoga nidra (yogic sleep),
• Teaching Methodology of different styles of yoga – Patanjali, Ashtanga, Traditional & Classical, Hatha, Vinyasa, Shivananda etc.
• Method, principle, sequencing, adjusting, benefits and cautions of Yoga postures.
• Pranayama (breathing techniques)
• Bandhas (yogic locks)
• Yogic Shatkarmas / Kriyaa (cleansing techniques).
• Dhyana (meditation)
• Learning to teach yoga classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels students.
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga
• Yogic diet.
