What is Vasti?

Vasti (or Basti) is an Ayurvedic enema therapy that helps clean your colon, remove toxins, and balance your mind and body. It is one of the 5 main cleansing treatments in Panchakarma.

It uses herbal oils and warm water decoctions gently introduced into the rectum to cleanse deeply and heal from the inside. This is especially good for those with constipation, anxiety, sleep issues, hormonal imbalance, and even joint pain like arthritis.

Why Do You Need Vasti?

You may need Vasti if you have:

Best Time to Do Vasti

1. If you are healthy, the rainy season is the best time for this Ayurvedic cleanse.
   
   
2. If you are sick, you can do it any season, but under expert guidance.
   
   
3. Rainy season increases Vata in the body. This is the perfect time to cleanse it.
   
   

How Does the Vasti Treatment Work?

We follow a minimum of 8-day plan, designed for deep cleansing, healing and restoring the colon with alternate oil and herbal water therapies.

Step-by-Step Plan:

Day 1: Oil-based Vasti (for softening and lubricating)

Day 2: Herbal Water Vasti (for deep cleansing)

Day 3: Oil-based Vasti (for softening and lubricating)

Day 4: Herbal Water Vasti (for deep cleansing)

Day 5: Oil-based Vasti (to nourish and restore)

Day 6: Herbal Water Vasti (for deep cleansing)

Day 7: Oil-based Vasti (to seal and strengthen)

Day 8: Final Oil-based Vasti (to seal and strengthen)

Only one enema or one-day cleanse is not safe. You must follow the full plan for real healing.

Why Oil First, Then Water, Then Oil Again?

If you clean your colon with only water, it becomes too dry and weak.

First, we prepare your body with oil, then do the cleansing, and finally nourish and restore with oil again.

This way, your colon stays healthy, strong, and lubricated.

Different Vasti for Different Health Issues:
